12.22.25 LiveWell Newsletter

This week’s LiveWell Finney County newsletter highlights important community health updates and upcoming opportunities to get involved. We are sharing information about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, a free, confidential, 24/7 resource available to anyone experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or substance use concerns — or those worried about a loved one.

There will be no regular coalition meeting in December, with our next monthly coalition meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 at Noon at St. Catherine Hospital. The January meeting will focus on the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), which was approved by the St. Catherine Hospital Board of Directors in November 2025 and reflects priorities identified by Finney County residents, including Access to Care, Behavioral Health, and Chronic Disease Management.

LiveWell will have limited office hours from December 22–26 due to the holiday season, with offices closed on December 25 and January 1.

Included is a  snapshot of Pioneer Trail usage, which showed increased activity around Thanksgiving, highlighting the importance of local trails for recreation and physical activity.
