LiveWell Finney County Weekly Update – January 5, 2026

LiveWell Finney County is inviting community members and partners to help shape the future of health in Finney County by participating in upcoming Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Community Meetings on Tuesday, January 27. These meetings build on findings from the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), which identified three priority areas for the next three years: Access to Care, Behavioral Health (including substance use), and Chronic Disease Management. Two meeting times are available—Noon and 5:30 PM—both held in Classroom B at St. Catherine Hospital, with food provided.

In addition to CHIP planning, LiveWell is hosting a FREE 8-hour Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training on Thursday, January 15, beginning at 8:00 AM. This training equips participants with skills to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges and connect individuals to appropriate support. Registration is required by January 13, and space is limited.

Other upcoming events include the Local Health Equity Action Team (LHEAT) meeting on January 14 and the LiveWell Coalition Meeting on January 27 at noon. LiveWell remains committed to building a healthier, more resilient Finney County through collaboration, education, and community engagement.
