This week’s LiveWell newsletter celebrates community partnerships that are helping make Finney County healthier and more connected.

We’re highlighting an exciting milestone at East Garden Village, where the produce distribution program has now held 12 distributions. Since launching in September 2025, the program has provided fresh food to 324 households and 1,104 individuals. LiveWell and our partners are now working toward the long-term goal of establishing a permanent food pantry at East Garden Village.

We’re also celebrating new basketball nets at Scout Park and Lions Park, purchased through LHEAT and installed with help from GC Havoc. Additional nets are available for publicly accessible basketball goals in Finney County that have missing or worn-out nets.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and we’re reminding our community that asking someone directly if they are thinking about suicide does not increase their risk. If you or someone you know needs support, call or text 988.
